The ride raised $7,500, enough to sponsor three veterans through the Adaptive Sports Center program in Colorado. Wholesalers Report Plans to Observe Independence Day
American Supply Association
For major holidays, it's not unusual for ASA to receive inquiries from members about when and how wholesalers will observe major the holidays. So, for the April, 2015, installment of ASA's Monthly Pulse Report, respondents were asked to indicate their plans for this year’s Independence Day, which falls on a Saturday. 78.4% of wholesalers are anticipated to be closed and 14.9 percent will be open on Friday, July 3rd. For most of those that will be open, it will be business as usual, i.e. very few will operate with special hours, reduced staff or on-call/emergency service only. On July 4th, only 2.7 percent of wholesalers plan to be open with on-call /emergency service only. And on Monday, July 6th, it will be business as usual for nearly all distributors with only 2.8% reporting they will be closed in observance of the holiday.

Why Onboarding has Become a Strategic Priority
TLNT
We all remember that feeling you get before the first day of school — nervous, excited and very concerned over which outfit to wear. The first day of school can be rough, but thankfully we're all adults now and don't have to go through that again. Or do we? The answer is yes.

People Join Good Companies but Quit Bad Managers
Greg L. Alston
I'm constantly amazed by how people who are charged with managing people try to make life much more complex and difficult than it needs to be. When people join a new company, they are usually excited by the new opportunities and believe in the vision of the organization. They choose the job based on the best fit with their world view. This assumes of course that they have their choice of jobs. If they need a job to eat, the dynamic is quite different.
