Wanted: CSCE Liaison Officer for South Asia
The CSCE's International Affairs Committee (IAC) is looking for a
dynamic CSCE member willing to join the committee as CSCE Liaison
Officer for South Asia (India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, the Maldives and
Bangladesh). The CSCE member must be willing to serve a minimum of two
years on IAC and to volunteer a minimum of 50 hours per year on unpaid
volunteer committee work. If interested, please contact Dr. Rishi Gupta,

Judges needed for the CSCE Canadian National Concrete Canoe Competition
Looking for a way to give back and to get involved with some of the
brightest students from across the country? Sign up to be a judge for
the 21st CSCE Canadian National Concrete Canoe Competition.
Experts in areas ranging from concrete/materials engineering to project
management are needed. The competition is being hosted by the
University of Toronto from May 8 to 10, 2015.

Skyscraper construction total hits record in 2014
Ninety-seven skyscrapers, including three in Canada, were completed around the world in 2014, setting an annual construction record, according to a new report.
The total height of those 97 towers is 23,333 metres, another record.
