Engineering design company Aecom Technology Corp. is buying URS Corp. for $4 billion in cash and stock.
The price is 19 per cent above the average price for URS stock over the last 30 days. Shares spiked and retreated on July 11 on a report that URS was looking to sell.
A billion-dollar bill to replace infrastructure
An assessment of health-care facilities in the Regina Qu'Appelle Health Region (RQHR) confirms that the region needs a billion dollars to replace aging infrastructure, says Dr. David McCutcheon, the region's acting CEO.
97 per cent of engineers aspire for a job in IT and core engineering
Of the six hundred thousand engineers that graduate annually in the country, only 18.43 per cent are employable for the Software Engineer-IT services role, 7.49 per cent are employable for core engineering jobs, even though more than 90 per cent aspire for such jobs.
