They are looking for product concepts or ideas that solve a real problem and can be part of a university project or something designed in your own time. Submissions are due August 7th, 2014 and there are both national and international finalists. Let's show them what Canadian engineers can do!

Engineering giant Aecom buys URS for $4 billion

Engineering design company Aecom Technology Corp. is buying URS Corp. for $4 billion in cash and stock. The price is 19 per cent above the average price for URS stock over the last 30 days. Shares spiked and retreated on July 11 on a report that URS was looking to sell.
