Company picked for Paseo del Norte/I-25 project in New Mexico

There were dozens, then three, and by Sunday, Aug. 4, only one company remained in the quest to take over the Paseo/I-25 interchange program. Albuquerque Mayor Richard Berry, flanked by representatives from Bernalillo County, the New Mexico Department of Transportation and others, announced that Kiewit New Mexico/Bohannan Huston Inc./Terracon team had won the bid to construct the new $93 million roads project.
Four teams shortlisted for LaGuardia terminal building replacement in New York
Four teams have been selected to compete for a $2.4-billion project to design, build, finance, operate, and maintain the LaGuardia Airport Central Terminal Building (CBT), says a Port Authority of New York and New Jersey spokesman. PANYNJ will conduct $1.2 billion in infrastructure upgrades in addition to the project, he says.

Four teams bidding for I-69 financing, construction in Indiana

The Indiana Department of Transportation says four teams of contractors are competing to build one of the final stretches of the Interstate 69 extension. The teams answered Request for Qualifications from the state regarding the construction of I-69 from Bloomington to Martinsville. A Request for Proposals is expected from the state this fall.

Dayton chief to lead board overseeing $6 billion Mayo Clinic project in Minnesota

Minnesota Gov. Mark Dayton recently named his chief of staff to lead the eight-member board that will oversee a $6 billion, public-private makeover of Mayo Clinic and Rochester. Dayton's chief of staff, Tina Smith, stepped into the board chair's seat at its first meeting in Rochester. Smith helped shepherd the project through the legislative approval process earlier this year.
