Ohio Department of Transportation begins search for second Innerbelt Bridge construction team

The Ohio Department of Transportation officially launched the search for a qualified design, construction and finance team to build the new eastbound Innerbelt Bridge in Cleveland and demolish the aging structure motorists currently use as they drive into and out of the city's downtown on Interstate 90. The team will provide initial financing and construct the bridge; ODOT will then pay the team back over a set time. More

State officials still insist they will share details of the designs being considered for the Tappan Zee Bridge replacement. But months after they first said they would do that, it's still unclear exactly what the public will get to see - and when. The issue, the officials say, is that they have to be careful not to violate federal law regulating contract negotiations. More

Dallas Area Rapid Transit selected the Stacy and Witbeck/Carcon JV team, with HDR as lead designer, for the Dallas Streetcar Oak Cliff Line. This 1.6-mile streetcar line was the recipient of a $26 million Transportation Investment Generating Economic Recovery grant and will be the first modern streetcar in Dallas. More
