Each year, EAPA's annual awards program celebrates the achievement of individuals and organizations who have distinguished themselves through their contributions to the EA profession and EAPA. The Awards will be given in September at the EAPA 2019 Conference and EXPO in St. Louis MO. Selection of recipients is the responsibility of the EAPA Awards Committee. The award nominations will open in May and the winners will be notified in June. The 2019 Committee members are: Mike Cipressi (Chair), Lafayette Hill PA; Rebecca Bowman, Rochester, NY; Daryl C. A new JAMA article looked at the experience of 33,000 employees at BJ’s Wholesale Club over a year and a half, and found that while those enrolled in wellness programs said they exercised more and watched their weight, they experienced no significant long-term outcomes like lower blood pressure or sugar levels.
