Before too long their vacationing clients wanted to purchase items from their home and just like that they became antique dealers. Their home has got the most amazing vintage pieces from screen doors over the fireplace to an old door as a headboard.

Smart Homes Getting Smarter: How Interior Designers Must Adapt
By Michael J. Berens
If you are not familiar with the term "the Internet of things," it is time to add it to your vocabulary. As became apparent during this year's Consumer Electronics Show, it won't be long before coordinating "the Internet of things" will be another task for designers to add to their project management plan. The Power of Pastels
As a young girl growing up in Dublin, Michelle McKenna of Space and Grace was fascinated by the effect that color has on a person's well-being. The house was in a serious state of disrepair — a literal "blank canvas."

Bathroom Table Vanities
As vessel sinks have grown in popularity for bathrooms, the notion of an enclosed vanity or cabinet has given way. A vintage or antique table has far more character and style. A table also takes up less visual space than a cabinet which helps a bathroom look larger than it may be. It’s difficult to decipher the style – it could be Hispanic or rustic Asian. It marries well with the chunky Baroque-style mirror and points up the delicacy of the green Chinoiserie bowl sink. And the wall-mounted faucet simply blends in.
