Be a Master Networker: 5 Rules
Inc.
Networking is not shameless self-promotion to everyone you meet. It is not the professional version of shoving a flier under all the windshields in a parking lot. It's about finding and meeting the precisely right person for your needs at the time. It involves doing a bit of legwork to identify just who that person might be. It means thinking about what you have to offer that person — not just what they can do for you.

Houzz
This may seem like advanced color selection to some; it can be tricky to integrate multiple bold colors in a space and not have it resemble a game board. The key is to pick colors that harmonize with one another, and to use brighter hues sparingly. Mix in some light neutrals or lots of natural light, and you'll have a stunning space for sharing meals with family and friends.

Decorating With Mirrors
The New York Times
A crucial part of designing a room is figuring out "interesting ways to use your walls," Ashley Whittaker said. "And mirrors are a wonderful way to do that." Mario Buatta: The Beauty of a Bad Pun
The New York Times
Mario Buatta is perhaps the only decorator people outside of the Palm Beach-Upper East Side-Southampton axis could actually name: the longtime purveyor of English country style, otherwise known as the Prince of Chintz, who was once memorialized in a suit of that fabric on the cover of Manhattan Inc., and as a floral lampshade by Absolut Vodka. But he is nonetheless late to publishing.
