We've got your solution!

immediate area, occasions arise where a machine you sold needs service, installation
or inspection in a geographical area that you are not familiar with.
The Technical Services Directory features companies recommended by MDNA Member
Firms who specialize in different Technical Services in the machinery industry, such as
CNC programming, hydraulics repair, presses, etc.
Your recommendations of people you know in your area (including yourself) will be what
creates this directory — which we hope will be another invaluable resource for our
members. Plus, each specialty listing is FREE!

What is smart manufacturing? It's not a single concept, but it's a whole family of technologies that brings efficiency and new opportunities to manufacturing — and, in turn, the entire supply chain.
This industrial revolution goes by the name industry 4.0. It is not without its potential risks, but the advantages could not be clearer. Here is a look at some of the most important technologies coming of age in industry 4.0.
Although it has been said that money makes the world go round, a quick Google search shows the expression is increasingly being rephrased: data makes the world go round. And it’s also been said that data can make or break a company, depending on how it’s used.
By Michelle R. Matisons
U.S.-Mexico relations currently revolve around two distinct discourses.
One discourse emphasizes separation and punishment, as President Donald Trump seeks support for his border wall while Mexico strengthens border control. The other discourse emphasizes economic cooperation and trade relations, which we witness as tariff threats fade and renewed talk of the United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement passing in Congress heats up.
A new suite of tools is creating a transformational impact on how to bring new products to the world. Manufacturing companies at the vanguard of Industry 4.0 aren’t just making revolutionary products and getting to market faster, but they’re also creating less impact on the environment and moving away from old, carbon-intense manufacturing processes.
Manufacturing is experiencing a digital revolution. With the technologies driving Industry 4.0 — IIoT, AI and cloud at the forefront — manufacturing has reached a critical tipping point. Manufacturers need to either embrace the digital transformation of their operations and processes now or fall behind their competitors.
It often takes a college degree, or at least more high-tech certifications, to program and maintain things like industrial 3D printers, robotics and other workplace automation machines.
This is where it makes sense for companies to actually pay for the training and education of their employees. Rather than conduct a six-month search for someone to manage your company’s robots, why not train a couple of your employees?
