Ever Needed A Machine Serviced That You Sold Outside Of Your Area?
We've got your solution!
Many people have felt the same way. Because you don't always do business in your
immediate area, occasions arise where a machine you sold needs service, installation
or inspection in a geographical area that you are not familiar with.
The Technical Services Directory features companies recommended by MDNA Member
Firms who specialize in different Technical Services in the machinery industry, such as
CNC programming, hydraulics repair, presses, etc.
Your recommendations of people you know in your area (including yourself) will be what
creates this directory — which we hope will be another invaluable resource for our
members. Plus, each specialty listing is FREE!
For even more exposure in this publication, consider purchasing a display
Please go here to download the form and send your recommendations to the MDNA via

Member Firm, so please fill out the form completely. We will then contact them and let
them know they've been recommended by you .

Smart Manufacturing. Factory of the Future. Industry 4.0. These are the buzzwords used by those driving the manufacturing world forward. At the heart of these concepts is digital manufacturing and design. But what exactly is DM&D? And what does it mean for the small and medium-sized manufacturers that make up the majority of the industry?
The Wall Street Journal
The Trump administration is examining whether to require that next-generation 5G cellular equipment used in the U.S. be designed and manufactured outside China, according to people familiar with the matter. The move could reshape global manufacturing and further fan tensions between the countries.
The dollar slipped against most major currencies recently, hitting a three-month low versus the euro, as expectations of multiple decreases of U.S. interest rates by the Federal Reserve have spurred selling of the U.S. currency.
Growing tensions between Iran and the U.S. stoked fresh safe-haven buying of yen, which reached its strongest levels against the greenback since early January.
New orders for long-lasting U.S.-made goods fell for a second straight month in May as troubles at Boeing weighed on demand for aircraft, suggesting manufacturing could remain weak even as business spending on equipment appears to stabilize. The recent report from the Commerce Department added to a raft of weak data on trade, consumer confidence, housing and employment growth that have indicated a sharp loss of momentum in economic activity in the second quarter.
The Indiana Lawyer
The days of a dark, smoky factory filled with men pushing buttons to keep the machines running are long gone.
Instead, today’s manufacturing plants are high-tech, diversely staffed and even clean. Robots automate production and improve efficiency. And the people tasked with operating the robots aren’t just button pushers — they’re trained technologists who understand the inner workings of complex machinery.
