Liberty Media completes Charter investment
Charter Communications and Liberty Media said Liberty has completed its $2.6 billion investment in the cable operator. Back in March, Liberty said it would purchase 26.9 million Charter shares and 1.1 million warrants from investment funds managed by, or affiliated with, Apollo Management, Oaktree Capital Management and Crestview Partners for $95.50 each.
HuffPost Live is coming to cable via Mark Cuban's AXS TV
The online video network for AOL-owned news publication Huffington Post, HuffPost Live, has signed a new deal that will bring its content to cable television. That's right — the Huffington Post is now on cable TV.
'Exhale' talk show to air on Magic Johnson's ASPiRE Network
Magic Johnson is wasting no time lining up original programming for his ASPiRE television network.
Actress, Malinda William; "Awkward Black Girl" creator, Issa Raye; journalist, Angela Burt-Murray; actress and comedian Erin Jackson and TV anchor Rene Syler have all been selected to host ASPiRE's first talk show, "Exhale."
Telemundo Media, Weather Company create digital partnership
Telemundo Media has partnered with The Weather Company to integrate weather content into the Spanish-language content provider's digital properities, executives from both companies said. The partnership will allow Telemundo to integrate local forecast info and other Weather information in in Telemundo's main navigation bar.
