NAMIC is pleased to announce the launch of the 2014 Education Programs Impact Study. The study will assess the impact of NAMIC's core education programs on various aspects of participants' career paths. It is part of our ongoing effort to ensure that we are meeting the needs of our constituents through a relevant portfolio of programmatic offerings.

As a thank you to all survey participants, we will be holding a drawing to award a complimentary registration ($1,500 value) to the 29th Annual NAMIC Conference, set for Sept. 29 and 30, 2015, at the New York Marriott Marquis, to five survey participants. If you have already completed the survey, please email to enter into the drawing.

Your feedback is extremely important, whether you have actually participated in one of the education programs or not. We appreciate your participation in the survey and look forward to your feedback. Click here to take the survey.

Target, General Mills eye diversity in messages
Advertising is breaking new barriers. Fading are the days when families were portrayed like the Cleavers in the 1960s sitcom "Leave It to Beaver." Big-name brands such as General Mills and Target are just as likely today to feature biracial and/or same-sex partners in their marketing campaigns as they are to depict a more traditional husband-and-wife-with-two-kids-and-a-dog focus. And professionals in the ad agency world love it.
