Fellowship program targets young digital media professionals

The NAA Foundation will offer a fellowship program for young digital media professionals during NAA mediaXchange 2012, scheduled for April 2-5 in Washington, D.C. Ten fellows will be selected to participate in a day of targeted programming. They also will attend NAA mediaXchange sessions. Fellowships will cover conference registration, travel, hotel and meal stipends. Deadline to apply is Feb. 3. Applicants should have a minimum of three years of experience in some aspect of digital operations and no more than seven years of media experience. More

Retailers who have demonstrated long-term cooperative efforts to sell and market newspapers are honored annually by NAA with the Tony Mineart Newspaper Merchandiser of the Year Award. The NAA Single-Copy Committee welcomes your nominations of retailers who are open to ideas such as co-promotions or newspaper-specific promotions, or retailers who in general do the best overall and ongoing job of promoting newspapers.
