Spa treatments are a luxury that not all travelers are keen on experiencing especially when visiting a new destination. The usual itinerary will comprise of tours, some shopping and food adventures. A few hours in a destination spa, however, is not merely a means of relieving the body from stress, fatigue and tension. It is also a means of exploring and discovering other cultures reflected through traditional therapy, use of local ingredients and unique settings for relaxation. Of course, it always helps to nourish mind, body and soul whether it is upon landing or just before taking off to return to reality. Whichever the case, these destination spas are worth adding to the bucket list of a quintessential spa-holic.

The beauty brand that pioneered facials in a bubble — a real inflatable bubble, filled with pure air and free of pollution — is taking their treatments even more over-the-top.
Barcelona-based Natura Bissé, whose skin care products are used at top spas around the world, including Bacara Resort & Spa in Santa Barbara and Le Blanc in Cancun, just unveiled "The Mindful Touch Pure Air Bubble Facial."
Beauty contributor Lauren Levinson writes: "Sometimes a skin care treatment seems like a scam. It's too good to be true, right? I promise that is not the case when it comes to microcurrent facials. This is actually an old-school holistic technique that's been taking off with influencers and celebrities thanks to its antiaging properties. Just search #microcurrentfacial on Instagram, and you'll see what I mean!"
World of Cruising
With so much to do on board, not to mention all those exciting excursions ashore, cruising is the perfect holiday for couples who like to play together. But a his-and-hers pampering session takes togetherness to a whole new level. Many onboard spas now offer couples treatments, and even whole pampering packages, so lie back, hold hands, and surrender to your senses.

Do members of your team seem to be at odds with each other? Maybe it's time to examine what exactly makes a team. How can an organization best define its teams, while keeping its employees engaged and productive? A recent New York Times article explored that very subject by taking a look at how tech giant Google approached teamwork. Google researchers began by looking at various data spanning a half-century.
Founder and CEO of Acceleration Partners Bob Glazer writes: "It takes great leaders and talent to grow a successful company. One of the best descriptions of a leader I've heard is that leaders focus on vision and strategy, guiding and removing obstacles for their teams — something like a coach in sports.
Managers typically focus more on the execution piece, working in the business. By contrast, real leadership means providing a compelling vision and clear direction. Successful leaders clarify priorities and expectations, defining employee roles and ensuring that the processes and capacity required for them to execute are in place."
Today's marketers have countless options when it comes to social media. Some platforms peak in popularity and then quickly disappear. This makes it difficult to determine which channels to invest time and budget in. For digital marketers specifically targeting millennials, this adds an extra challenge. Millennials are always looking for the "next big thing." By the time marketers decipher which platform millennials are currently using, they've moved on.

Whether you're a senior executive or a business development manager, managing the marketing budget is an inescapable challenge. Understanding how to use that budget most effectively will help you make the right decisions that bring new business to the company. Often, one of the most effective opportunities to evaluate and improve return on how that marketing budget is spent is in choosing the right marketing channels for your industrial company.

Protection from UV radiation is of paramount importance in preventing skin cancers, the majority of which occur on sun-exposed areas of the face, ears, and neck. A reusable, inexpensive, and truly simple measure of personal protection that greatly reduces exposure to UVR, thereby reducing the risk for developing skin cancers.
A recent review of 195 studies shows that how students engage with feedback is just as important as how it's delivered. Lead author Dr. Naomi Winstone says that as a result of the heavy focus on giving high-quality feedback, the issues surrounding how learners understand and use feedback have been relatively neglected in research. "If we want feedback to have maximum impact on learners' development, then how learners engage with and implement feedback is just as crucial as the quality and timing of the feedback itself," she says. "No matter how high quality the feedback teachers provide, it will never have high impact unless we support learners to become 'proactive recipients' of feedback."

Various articles published over the past six months have touted the emerging use of immersive virtual reality as a teaching tool for exploring academic subjects like history, science, art and others in innovative new ways. VR in the classroom remains a hot topic in 2017, yet with a slightly different twist on subject matter — teaching empathy. Given its powerful nearly visceral nature, virtual reality experiences show promise for igniting empathy in today's students.
