The Business Owner to cease publication

For many years The Business Owner, a financial and tax planning bi-monthly newsletter has been a staple part of the NDA's Member Services. Unfortunately the publisher of The Business Owner has decided to concentrate on their consulting business and therefore will cease publication after the November/December 2013 issue. The NDA is looking for another similar bi-monthly publication to distribute to its members in the months when they don't receive Demolition magazine.

When a massive cloud of dust formed during the demolition of a coal-fired power plant in Elizabethton, Tenn., it caused quite a disturbance that brought the project to an immediate halt. Arlington garage where 'Deep Throat' spilled secrets is marked for demolition

Just two years after a historical marker went up commemorating the spot where FBI official Mark Felt secretly met with Washington Post reporter Bob Woodward during the Watergate investigation, the spot itself is set to come down. The spot was in a parking garage at 1401 Wilson Blvd. in the Rosslyn area of Arlington, Va., which Felt apparently selected as both an inconspicuous site and a halfway point between his own home near Prosperity Avenue in the Fairfax area and Woodward’s apartment in the District.
