The Convention Committee of the National Demolition Association has instituted, for the first time, an early bird registration fee for the association's Annual Convention. By registering BEFORE Jan. 13, each registrant can save $50 on the Delegate Registration for the NDA's 39th Annual Convention at the Grand Hyatt on the Riverwalk and the Henry B. This is the first time the association has held its Annual Convention, the largest exposition of demolition equipment, products and services in the world, in Texas and the first time the NDA's exhibition hall will be a municipal convention center.

Capitalizing on the event being held in Texas, the Convention Committee has decided on a decidedly Texas theme for next year's show. There will be Cowboy-themed event on Monday evening at San Antonio's Cowboy Dance Hall, which will feature a PBR Rodeo, country-western bands, a mechanical bull-ride, line dancing, a Texas barbeque and armadillo racing among other events. Tuesday evening's event will be casual and feature a Mexican theme with Hispanic dancers, a Mariachi band and Mexican cuisine with a San Antonio flair. The NDA's 25th Silver Anniversary Golf Tournament will be held out at the Hyatt Regency's Hill Country Resort on March 10.

Make sure to register BEFORE Jan. 13 to take advantage of the NDA's early bird special.
