New report suggests educational impact, timeliness of content in need of attention at association meetings
A new report from Tagoras and Velvet Chainsaw Consulting indicates that most trade and professional associations do not measure whether learning occurs at their major meetings and very few conduct any sort of follow-up assessments or evaluations to determine if education offered at meetings has impact. Additionally, most close down calls for speaking proposals eight months or more in advance of their meetings, thus making it difficult to meet member demands for timely content. More

Executives: Business travel is a pain

An overwhelming 92 percent of executives think that business travel is failing to improve, with almost half saying it is getting worse or even much worse, according to a survey by ON24, a Web casting and virtual event firm.
