State economy adds 13,600 private-sector jobs

New York State's economy gained 13,600 private-sector jobs, or 0.2 percent, in June, the State Labor Department reported. Since the state's economic recovery began in November 2009, New York has recouped a little more than 50 percent, or 169,200, of the private-sector jobs lost during the 2008-2009 recession. More
