Demand up for recruiters with social media skills

More than 2,700 online job ads for recruiters that required candidates to have social media skills appeared in the last 90 days, up 40 percent on a year-over-year basis, according to Wanted Analytics, a firm that tracks online job ads. Recruiters with social media skills are most frequently recruited for jobs located in New York City, Chicago, Washington, Boston and Los Angeles. More

A proposed bill that Gov. Andrew Cuomo is expected to sign any day would amend state labor laws to permit employers to make more deductions from employees' paychecks.
