A Last Look at PIA National's FLS
The PIA Western Alliance sent a delegation to the annual PIA Federal Legislative Summit in mid-March. Last week we heard from PIA Washington President Dale Kelley and PIA Washington National Director Rich Biggs, PIA Oregon's Immediate Past President Wendy Abel-Hatzel and PIA Montana National Director Tom Holland. March Rates — Holding Steady
You already know much of this from your own renewals. We have officially entered into a flat market. Is it a soft market? Who knows? But was it ever, really a hard market? That's debatable. But today we're talking about reality. MarketScout's monthly analysis of insurance rates says the market is now flat. The composite rate for P&C averaged a zero percent increase compared to the same month last year.

Flying & Airlines: An Annual Report
We all travel and most of us take our longest trips by air. Most of the time the trip is pleasant and uneventful. Most of the time. But sometimes there are failures. ObamaCare: Penalty Increasing
We all know the Affordable Care Act requires people to possess health insurance. If one doesn't have insurance, there is a fine. It's not huge but it's a fine nonetheless. The fine for 2014 is 1 percent of annual household income or $950 per adult and $47.50 per child under the age of 18. The greater of the two is what you pay.
