    Material Handling & Logistics
Each day, another 10,000 baby boomers turn retirement age. Their eventual retirement will have an impact on the job market, candidate pool and economy. While past predictions had the mass exodus underway by now, that's not happening. In fact, a significant percentage of baby boomers are not leaving the workforce just yet. Sustainability = responsibility
    Packaging World
Unfortunate as it may be, there is still a lot of ignorance and misinformation in the packaging community about sustainability and what it really means. Misconceptions abound, such as "It's always more expensive," "It's only about renewable materials," or "It's just one characteristic of a package."

    Making space for change
    By Michael J. Berens
Disconnects between a leader's vision and organizational culture are all too common in organizations. However well-respected — or well-feared — a leader may be, change cannot and will not occur simply because a leader says it will. Making space for change requires modifying organizational structures and culture to create both the possibility and the opportunity for change. It is not enough just to communicate change.
