ACC holds successful International 101 Webinar for Young Professionals
ACC
Over 100 participants registered and joined the International 101 webinar on Wednesday, April 15, in which three senior industrial professionals shared their experiences working overseas on aviation projects and provided valuable input. Sponsored by the ACC Young Professionals Forum, the How to Succeed in the Global Aviation Market webinar covered topics that ranged from knowing the pros and cons of working abroad, to understanding proper preparation and cultural barriers that may arise when doing business overseas.

A special thanks to the presenters for sharing their experiences to our group, who included: Keith Thompson, Principal with Gensler; Fin Bonset, Sector Manager of Aviation Planning with Atkins; and Steve Pelham, Vice President with RS&H. Thanks also to the Young Professionals Forum leadership for helping put together this robust webinar: Zach Varwig, Systems Analyst with Faith Group, LLC and Lead of the ACC YP Forum; and Carly Shannon, Project Planner with C&S Companies and Vice-Lead of the ACC YP Forum.

If you missed out on this free webinar, you can still view the full presentation on ACC’s YouTube channel. If you are interested in joining the ACC YP Forum or any of ACC’s eight committees (as an ACC member), you can do so by completing this survey. You can also contact Chris Spaulding, ACC Coordination of Communications, for additional information.
