US airports are better, but not best
The New York Times
As major airports around the world scramble to brand themselves as luxury entities rather than mere transportation centers, some have adopted a star-ranking system, like hotels. It was inevitable. Munich Airport, calling itself “Bavaria’s gateway to the world,” boasts that it has become “Europe’s first five-star airport.”

ACC NEWS

Overwhelming response to the ACC/ACI-NA/AGC Airport Construction Strategy Summit
ACC
ACC, along with Airports Council International – North America and the Associated General Contractors of America, successfully held the Airport Construction Strategy Summit last week in Ft. Lauderdale. This re-booted event was born out of the Airport Project Delivery Summit, which was last held in 2012. More than 100 attendees, including roughly 50 airport representatives, participated in discussions on airport construction contracting methods, both alternative as well as the more traditional. As the alternative contracting methods become more mainstream and construction continues to increase in the U.S. airport market, we expect this event to continue to grow and have already agreed to hold it again in 2016.
