A Weekly News and Information Resource for Airport Development Experts www.ACConline.org

Fulfilling Our Industry Role
ACC
As we begin the second half of 2014, I hope you have been pleased by the quality events and services offered by ACC. We directly addressed issues at the core of ACC members’ business, including funding, contracting, and the procurement of professional services and equipment for airport projects. ACC events set record attendance and maximized networking opportunities, while we ensured that member interests were represented at non-ACC events, both domestically and internationally. We confirmed our role as an important aviation stakeholder by staying active in industry working groups and meeting with a broad mix of interests to discuss mutual goals. I encourage all of you to read further about the work done on our members’ behalf in the July 2014 ACC Staff Report.

As the year continues, we look forward to begin advocating for an FAA reauthorization by engaging with our members and representing their interests in the industry. I would love to hear from you and get your ideas on what ACC can do to enhance its value to your company. Feel free to call or send me an e-mail (tjs@acconline.org) with your thoughts and suggestions.

T.J. Schulz
President, Airport Consultants Council (ACC)
