Schulz Participates in Selection of Security Research Projects
ACC
ACC President T.J. Schulz led a group of industry stakeholders in the selection of the initial four airport security research projects to be funded under the National Safe Skies Alliance’s new Program for Applied Research in Airport Security (PARAS). PARAS is an industry-driven, applied research program that develops near-term practical solutions to security problems faced by airport operators. It is administered by Safe Skies in coordination with AAAE, ACC, ACI-NA, and A4A, and is modeled after the Airport Cooperative Research Program of the Transportation Research Board. Schulz was selected as the chair of the Safe Skies Oversight Committee last month and presided over the selection panel. The project announcements and solicitation for project panelists should be announced within the next few weeks.
