TSA Administrator John Pistole to retire from TSA
TSA
John S. Pistole, the Transportation Security Administration’s longest serving administrator, announced his retirement from public service, effective Dec. 31, 2014, following more than 31 years in the federal government, including four and a half years at TSA and 26 years at the FBI. In the coming weeks, Administrator Pistole is expected to be named to a position in academia beginning in early 2015.

John Heimlich, vice president and chief economist at Airlines for America (A4A), will provide keynote remarks to open the 2014 ACC Global Business Summit in Washington, DC from December 3-4. Heimlich joined A4A in April 2001. Prior to A4A, Heimlich spent five years at United Airlines in financial planning, financial analysis and international and regulatory affairs.
