Sprinklers Kept Orange, Conn., Business Fire from Spreading

While Orange, Conn., residents were sitting at the Orange Fairgrounds waiting for the fireworks display to begin, a fire began at a nearby building. Fire department spokesman Mark Osinski said the first crew members on scene extinguished the fire with the help of the sprinkler system. The second crew searched the interior to make sure the blaze hadn’t spread to adjoining businesses. He said the sprinklers helped keep it from spreading. More
