The P.E.I. fire marshal says a decision he made 15 years ago after a fire drill at the Miscouche Villa seniors home likely saved it this weekend. Dave Blacquiere said an overloaded multi-plug unit caused the fire at the seniors home just west of Summersidem, PE Canada. He said it was dangerously close to a curtain but the sprinkler system quickly extinguished the blaze. More
