New Hampshire State Board to Discuss Requiring Sprinkler Systems in Homes

Sprinklers Contain North Carolina Commercial Fire

The Gastonia Fire Department responded to this commercial business fire at Wood Creations in Gastonia, N.C.
The fire started in a sawdust collections machine and was contained to the area by the activation of four sprinkler heads. There were no injuries reported and all employees evacuated safely. This fire could have been much worse if this business had not been equipped with a properly working sprinkler system. The sprinkler system activated, giving the employees time to escape and contained the fire to area of origin.
