With the interest level in colored gemstones and cultured pearls on the rise, the demand for American Gem Trade Association (AGTA) speakers has been very strong this year and continues through this summer and fall. Industry organizations are turning to AGTA to help bring more information to their retail members about this margin-friendly category.

AGTA CEO Douglas K. Hucker and Marketing Manager Adam Graham present in-depth information on all aspects of colored gemstones, cultured pearls and color in fashion. Selling techniques, color trends, design trends, marketing tools and gemological updates from the AGTA Gemological Testing Center (GTC) are all discussed in a typical seminar.

"It is our goal for the people attending our sessions to walk away with a much better understanding of the opportunity that exists with color and ways to take advantage of that opportunity in their stores," says Hucker. "Many attendees choose to join the AGTA as well to take advantage of some of our member-only programs that lend additional support to their efforts in expanding their colored gemstone and pearl business."
