The final deadline to submit entries for the AGTA Spectrum Awards™ is next Tuesday, Oct. 6 in New York City. Jewelry pieces and loose gemstones must be dropped off in person between 10:00 am and 3:00 pm at the offices of Intercolor USA at 48 W. 48th St., Ste. 800. Entry forms must accompany each piece.

The AGTA Spectrum Awards™ and Cutting Edge competition are regarded as the premiere colored gemstone and pearl design competitions in the world. All entered pieces are reviewed by a group of hand-picked judges then put on display for members of the media at a special, by-invitation-only event. Many designs are chosen for photo-shoots and styling events from this viewing.

Platinum Guild International is once again sponsoring the Platinum Honors portion of the Spectrum Awards. Platinum Honors winning designs receive extremely lucrative, value-added media packages that provides the designers with additional opportunities to place their pieces in front of the most influential editors and stylists in fashion. In fact, two Platinum Honors winners were just featured in the Emmy Preview Suite last week.
