AGTA GemFair™ Tucson Education Update

Along with being the source for colored gemstones, cultured pearls and finished jewelry, the AGTA GemFair™ Tucson is also an excellent venue for you and your staff to attend seminars.

Take a look at this year’s lineup:

• Keynote Speaker Lee Eiseman – the Executive Director of the Pantone Color Institute and known as the “international color guru” will be presenting two sessions at AGTA GemFair. She is the author of seven books related to color and will provide timely information on color trends and how to use that information in your merchandising and design.
• AGTA Free Seminar Program – over 40 sessions featuring top speakers from in and out of the trade. The program kicks off with the popular session “Best Buys in Tucson” with Richard Drucker and offers classes by the AGTA GTC, Platinum Guild International, GIA, American Gemological Laboratories, the Diamond Council of America, the Palladium Alliance, and Jewelers Mutual Insurance Company to name a few. Judith Whitehead is back to offer her Yoga for Jewelers class – always a great way to unwind at the end of the day!
• Stuller Learning Institute – a comprehensive, hands-on demonstration program that no bench jeweler should miss. Stuller experts, along with other bench jewelry instructors provide daily demonstrations in GemHall II.
• GIA Seminars and Classes – take the opportunity to do your Diamond Grading Lab, join John Koivula for the Microscope Challenge, or get up to speed on Identifying Synthetics with Andy Lucas. Fee based – www.gia.edu.
