As locksmiths from across West Tennessee gathered at a Jackson hospital Wednesday to support Troy Mitchell, they also discussed changes they can make to better ensure their own safety. Mitchell was shot in the face while working on a car. "It could have been any one of us," said Jeff Delaney, owner of Advantage Lock & Key in Jackson. "We've been talking in the hospital parking lot and decided that we are going to work out a system where we call each other. Even if it's not a paid thing, it is better to be safe." Delaney said the dangers of making service calls are always at the back of his mind, but he has to balance that with the needs of his customers. More
