Law lists. Collection agencies. Attorneys. Most everyone in collections wants to improve their businesses without expending a huge amount of money and time. I've found that my best source for marketing and management ideas is ... my clients. Here are four tips you might follow to better retain clients, grow your relationship with your clients, and find new ones:
  • Survey your clients. Sit down and speak candidly with them. What do they like/dislike about your business? Are there more services you can provide to them?
  • Know your clients. What are their challenges, opportunities, concerns? Read the same publications and visit the same websites that your clients do. Join relevant trade organizations.
  • Visit your clients. At home or work. This shows that you value their time and gives you other opportunities to learn more about them.
  • Service your clients. Good service is the key to maintaining clients and getting them to recommend you to others.

Generally, when a party defaults upon a contract, you can be assured of a lengthy and costly battle in court to enforce your rights. However, a minority of states permit contractual mechanisms to bypass the litigation process and obtain a quick judgment. Preauthorized checks or debit cards by means of EFT
