ANLA Announces Jason Riley, Member of Editorial Board at the Wall Street Journal, is Keynote Speaker at the 2009 ANLA Legislative Conference
from ANLA
ANLA is pleased to announce the addition of Jason Riley, member of the editorial board at the Wall Street Journal, as keynote speaker to the Legislative Conference program. Riley, a native from upstate New York, has worked for the Wall Street Journal for fourteen years and is primarily an editorialist, but also writes op-eds and book reviews for the paper and appears regularly on the Journal's TV show on Fox News to discuss current events. Over the past seven years, he’s extensively covered immigration for the paper and has a book published covering the U.S. immigration policy. Riley’s book, Let Them In: The Case for Open Borders, powerfully captures the ideals and morals seen throughout the history of our country and focuses on the importance of our past to continue to develop and sustain our future. Riley restores balance in the immigration debate and addresses the arguments that are often used against opening the borders to immigrants. In his keynote address, Riley will offer thought-provoking insights into the 2008 elections, whether we are in for a long-term political realignment, and how GOP positions on contemporary issues like immigration reform will influence conservatives’ quest to regain political traction.

Jason is replacing Richard Nadler, who, sadly, passed away last week. Our thoughts go out to the friends and family of Richard Nadler. He was a great political thinker, researcher, activist and will be missed.

A primary source of performance measurement is the sales scorecard. So, if you don’t have one, create one. A scorecard is nothing more than a summary of actual performance against identified targets and the objectives set for those targets.
