SAMHSA Releases Treatment Improvement Protocol 53 and 54

The Substance and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) has recently released two new treatment improvement protocols (TIP): "TIP 53: Addressing Viral Hepatitis in People With Substance Use Disorders" and "TIP 54: Managing Chronic Pain in Adults With or in Recovery From Substance Use Disorders." The TIPs provide best practice guidelines for the treatment of substance abuse. More
