In ID's "2015 Survey of Distributor Operations," nearly one-third of distributor respondents told us that "finding more qualified people" was currently a primary concern. According to a recent report by PwC, Millennials make up 25 percent of the workforce in the U.S., and should account for 50 percent as soon as 2020. Michael Hayden, former director of the National Security Agency, says several current and retired top government officials side with Apple in its war with the Federal Bureau of Investigation over whether it can, and should, build a new iPhone operating system to allow the agency access to the personal data of a suspect of an investigation. In an interview published on Wednesday, Hayden outlined both sides of the argument before surprising the audience with his view.

AFL-CIO Prepares to Create its Own 'Super PAC' to Get Voters to the Polls

The AFL-CIO, the federation of unions representing nearly 10 million workers, is preparing plans for a "super PAC" that would raise tens of millions of dollars and focus on grass-roots efforts to mobilize voters. The director of the federation's campaigns department, David Boundy, recently presented the proposal in San Diego, where officials from the federation and its member unions gathered for its winter meeting last week. According to three people who sat in on at least one of Bound's presentations, the proposal calls for a separately funded entity that would raise money from unions, and potentially from progressive donors as well.
