U.S. Manufacturing Regains Favor
ASA Materials Market Digest©
A recent survey by the Boston Consulting Group found that almost one-third of executives for large manufacturers say they plan to add U.S. production over the next five years for goods consumed in the U.S. The 2015 survey found 31.0 percent of executives of $1 billion+ companies said they favored the U.S. for new facilities, as opposed to 20.0 percent who opted for China. This is a sharp reversal from a similar survey conducted just two years ago, when 30.0 percent of executives surveyed said they were likely to set up shop in China versus only 26.0 percent favoring the U.S. Log in to MY ASA for the March installment of ASA's Materials Market Digest©.More

It targets specific goals, for instance understanding a process and operating a certain machine or system.
