EVs to Increase Copper Demand 9x?!
ASA Materials Market Digest©
The growing market for electric vehicles (EVs) will significantly impact demand for copper over the next decade, according to new research commissioned by the International Copper Association (ICA). On top of this, each electric vehicle charger will add 0.7 kg of copper, and if it’s a fast charger, up to 8.0 kg of copper. But before one stuffs warehouses to the roof with copper expecting to make a killing down the road, visit MY ASA for the latest and archived installments of ASA’s Materials Market Digest©.More
