Study Shows Half Of Managers Don't Set Effective Employee Goals
Forbes
Forbes contributor Victor Lipman writes: "I've long been of the opinion, as readers of these blogs may have noted, that carefully developing employee job objectives is one of the most foundational, important and neglected tasks of management. Making Your Warehouse More Effective
By Ken Ackerman

When Your Co-Worker is a Robot
Crain's Chicago Business
Baxter, a robot hard at work in factories around the country, has appendages that move nimbly, like a dancer's arms, and gray eyes that appear on a screen positioned where one would expect a head. The eyes follow tasks the device has been programmed to do on a production line, shifting to the left or right as the work moves in those directions, like any employee made of the flesh. The moving eyes are a safety feature, signaling to humans where the device is focusing its energy, but they're also meant to have more of a cultural impact in factories.
