Many ASA Members Affected by Houston Damages
American Supply Association
Glenn Fuller and Texas Plumbing Supply help
clean up a fellow employee’s home.
As everyone is aware, over the past couple of weeks, Hurricane Harvey devastated south Texas and Louisiana resulting in billions of dollars in damages, and putting many families out of their homes. There are many ASA member branches in the surrounding area with employees and families that are now out of their homes due to the significant impact of this historic storm. ASA is doing what it can to raise money for these families in need, like two of Texas Plumbing Supply’s employees who are now out of their homes. Glenn Fuller and the rest of the TPS family are doing what they can to help these families return their lives back to normal. In addition to TPS, Coburn Supply has about 27 associates with homes needing to be gutted due to flooding. There will surely be more ASA families in need, so we are asking for your support to help them. Donate now to the ASA Hurricane Harvey Relief Fund. Your donation of $250, $500, $1,000 or any amount that you feel comfortable making, will make a huge difference to our industry's friends.

Some Leading Indicators Suggest Positive Momentum
ASA Advisor©
Leading indicators from the freight and transportation industry suggest positive momentum for ASA members into early next year as rising U.S. demand is increasing economic activity. U.S. Rail Freight Carloads and U.S. Transportation Services Freight Index both suggest sales will grow at an accelerating rate into early next year. Expected subsequent decline in these indicators corroborates analysts’ expectations from ITR Economics™ that sales will then grow at a slowing rate through 2019. Look for ways to increase freight and transportation effectiveness through technology and management as rising activity will increase your costs.
