ASA's select charitable partner, Homes for Our Troops is a national nonprofit, nonpartisan 501(c)(3) organization that is strongly committed to helping those who have selflessly given to our country and have returned home with serious disabilities and injuries since Sept. 11, 2001. Obama has said he wants to boost U.S. exports by 50 percent during the next five years. Trade skeptics in the Democratic caucus have blocked movement on trade-opening deals such as the South Korea treaty. Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell, R-Ky., said trade is one area where his caucus and the White House could work together. More

A separate report showed that orders to U.S. factories rose broadly in September. More

American Supply Association    Share    Share on FacebookTwitterShare on LinkedinE-mail article
ASA welcomes Allen Supply Co., headquartered in Allentown, Pa., as one of its new members in 2010. Originally founded in 1936, Frank R. Fasching purchased the business in 1986 with a balance sheet so deep in the red that the local bank president wondered if he had lost his mind. Within a year and with the help of his son, William (Bill), the company had become a profitable and reliable plumbing, heating and air conditioning supply house with 12 employees. In 2005, Bill Fasching, now president, and his partners purchased Allen Supply from his father, and today the company has more than 30 employees with two locations, including a retail showroom.
