PB Outlook: 25 Years of Plumbing Innovations

ASA announces the publishing of the spring edition of PB Outlook, which has been distributed to 20,000 industry customers via the print publication along with an additional 50,000 potential viewers who subscribe to the NKBA weekly e-newsletter. PB Outlook is a quarterly publication of the American Supply Association and the Plumbing Division whose purpose is to provide industry customers with critical information. "One of ASA's strategic goals is to promote our association and members as a source of critical information invaluable to our customers' businesses. Strong Push for Marketplace Fairness

With the 2014 elections quickly coming, bringing an end to the 113th Congress, the window is closing for action on passing the Marketplace Fairness Act. That is why the Alliance for Main Street Fairness hosted nearly 75 small-business owners from across the country including those from ASA to advocate for its passage and to finally level the playing field between brick-and-mortar businesses and their Internet-only counterparts.

Plenty of Face Time for Midwestern Channel Partners

Last week, the Midwest Distributors Association (MwDA) hosted four hospitality and networking receptions throughout its 10-state region. According to Dave Poteete, MwDA President from M. Cooper Supply, "With sustained support from MwDA's Associate Members, these programs help industry veterans to quickly and easily involve the younger, promising people who represent the next generation of principals and managers in our businesses as well as leadership for our industry so that they cultivate the same camaraderie that we enjoy." Overall, nearly 100 attendees, representing over 40 different companies, participated in these receptions.
