No Failed Doping Tests at Swim Worlds

No swimmer failed a doping test at the recent world championships in Rome, according to the governing body of the sport. FINA said it had completed 391 doping tests conducted at the championships July 15-Aug. 2, and all were negative. A total of 162 samples were screened for the blood-boosting hormone EPO. More

LSU Swimmer Competes in International Meets

It was a relatively quiet summer in the swim world compared to the glitz and glamour of the 2008 Summer Olympics.
For LSU swimmer Jane Trepp, it was business as usual.
Trepp, a junior from Estonia, spent the summer racking up personal records and traveling the globe for swim meets. She was an eight-time Estonian national champion and record holder with numerous international meets under her belt prior to LSU.
