MiniArc Sling vs Monarc Sling: Objective and Subjective Cure Rates at 12, 24 and 36 Months1

A randomized controlled trial comparing early to mid-term objective, subjective and functional outcomes of MiniArc Single-Incision Sling System and Monarc Subfascial Hammock in women with stress urinary incontinence (SUI) was presented at IUGA in Nice, France in 2015.1

3-Year Lee MiniMo study (Australia) suggests similar cure rates between MiniArc sling and Monarc sling.

  • MiniArc sling and Monarc sling showed no statistically significant difference in objective or subjective cure rates at 12, 24 and 36 months
  • MiniArc sling and Monarc sling showed statistically significant improvement in:
    • – 24-hour pad weight test (PWT) at 6 months
    • – Quality-of-life scores at 12, 24 and 36 months
  • Compared to Monarc, MiniArc had fewer postoperative complications
  • Data will be followed out to 60 months (5 years)
Objective Cure Rates and Subjective Cure Rates for MiniArc vs Monarc

Objective cure defined as negative urodynamic stress test (UST) or CST (cough stress test). Subjective cure is defined as absence of patient-reported SUI at follow-up; missing data is reported as a failure in this data.

This clinical study represents our commitment to women’s pelvic health through data transparency and the development of innovative therapies.
