New Law Could Expand the Horizons of Arizona Winemakers
Arizona winemakers could soon be serving up something much stronger than merlots and chardonnays. New legislation would allow them to produce spirits, like cognac and grappa. As Arizona Public Radio's Aaron Granillo reports, 2014 could turn out to be a good year for Arizona's wine country.

Reclaimed Water Supporting Yavapai College Vineyards
Another page was turned this week as Mayor Diane Joens threw the switch on Cottonwood's ever-growing re-use of wastewater effluent, now called "reclaimed water." New pumps southwest of the Cottonwood Wastewater Plant spun into action to begin sending reclaimed A+ water to Yavapai College Southwest Wine Center vineyards in Clarkdale.
