US Producers Band Together to Fight .Wine Domain
The Drinks Business
Regional bodies from several wine production regions in the U.S. are fighting the proposed release of generic top level domain names such as .wine and .vin by ICANN, saying those domains could be used by entities with no link to the industry. Nancy Light, vice president of the Wine Institute of California, explained the issue: "Wine regions protesting the new domains don't think sufficient safeguards exist to protect geographic names."

Rosé deserves its run, especially when it's dry, minerally and served ice-cold. It's a casual and relaxed varietal you could get away with serving in a red Solo cup, and maybe even with an ice cube (though I'm not the one who told you to do it).
