Technology Helps Australian Graper Growers Lower Risk of Downy Mildew
Grape growers in Barossa, Australia, now have the technology to easily assess their vineyards risk of downy mildew. Four new weather stations have been installed in vineyards across the region. These stations will provide grape growers in the region with data on rainfall, temperature, relative humidity and leaf wetness to help the growers stay ahead of the potentially devastating affects of downy mildew.
