The HP Pro Slate 8 is a tablet device that is very explicitly built for those who aren't quite ready to give up their pen and paper. Instead, it promises to work right alongside them.

Financial Post
Well, well, the big bet against the Canadian housing market, especially in the Greater Toronto Area, has still failed to take hold. Yet this is the primary reason why U.S. hedge funds have reportedly been adding to their short positions on Canadian bank stocks. Home sales nationwide hit a five-year high recently, with average resale prices up eight per cent, led by Toronto and Vancouver, which have acted as a huge offset to the retreat in Calgary where sales have predictably fallen 30 per cent from comparable 2014 levels.

No municipal land transfer tax for Hamilton
Hamilton Spectator

Ward 1 councillor Aidan Johnson asked his fellow councillors to support a probe into the implications of creating the new tax, which would charge buyers a levy based on the sale price of their home. Home buyers already pay a provincial land transfer tax.
