WEBForms® — CREA's most popular member product just got better
BREB via CREA
CREA is set to introduce Document and Transaction Management to its suite of WEBForms® services. These add-on services will provide members with additional flexibility when working with past and present transaction kits.

The release of Document and Transaction Management follows a long list of enhancements over the past year, including e-signatures, commercial real estate forms and the Transnational Referral Contract.

The driving force behind the launch of these new add-ons, and all future WEBForms® improvements, continues to be providing members with products and services that support their business needs. With Document and Transaction Management, CREA has partnered with two vendors to bring affordable solutions that improve the ways members can interact with their WEBForms® data.

The attached document has been posted in WEBForms® for your members to learn about the new add-ons.

Sellers' form still troubling the real estate industry
Toronto Star
The Seller Property Information Statement, a disclosure form created by the real estate industry, continues to cause grief for sellers, buyers — and real estate agents. Back in August, 2008, Daniel Fors bought a house in Thunder Bay from Vance and Dorothy Overacker for $392,000. Jack Mallon was the real estate agent for the sellers on the transaction. Following closing, the buyer experienced significant water problems in the basement and roof.

Broker sticks up for REALTORS®
Mortgage Broker News
More homebuyers may be choosing to privately sell their own homes but many brokers still believe REALTORS® provide a safeguard for potential home owners during the buying process. "In view of all the potential mortgage frauds in the real estate market at this time, it is prudent to use a seasoned real estate professional; people think that a real estate lawyer can replace a real estate professional, but the truth is that real estate lawyer is not trained as a real estate professional and monitored by CREA or TREB," Angela Wong-Lao of Invis the Money Lady said on MortgageBrokerNews.ca.

Are these the worst real estate agent photos EVER?
Yahoo!
All too often home hunters are faced with a property that appeared far superior in estate agent photos than in reality. However, some are more than happy to eschew camera trickery and clever angling to present a warts and all representation of a property. And a popular blog, Terrible Real Estate Agent Photographs, is showcasing the worst examples with droll captions to make you wonder how anyone ever thought the images would help sell a home.
